The lore behind this nation is that The Nordic people were United by a hanseatic League like system except very centralized. The state is run by the Chief Trader and he is in control of the Commerce Council. A new Chief Trader is chosen after the current one dies and is elected by the Commerce Council. The Chief Trader has absolute power unless this is stripped by the Commerce Council if they see him as abusing the position. They are known for heavy imperialism and being big in the African, Native American, and Indian slave trade. Even in the 2000s their legacy of tyranny can be seen on every continent (Except Europe)

So I've been playing Ireland in WW2 and I got some land: North Canada, Greenland, entire island of Ireland, some of Africa's east coast, around 1/5 or 1/6 of South America and most of Iberian Peninsula. There's this one country of Rebels on this peninsula tho and it uses a... strange strategy against me. I've noticed that they were changing colours all the time but AoC is a bit bugged so I didn't care (and btw, they were Rebels but they didn't have a war with anyone). I made some troops and declared a war on them but... next turn it says that (different) country of Rebels declared independence from them and took all their land! I thought "ok, I'll just attack them instead…

I started my game as Falkland Isles (little island with the worst economy in game) but without any unions, alliances and improving diplomatic relations. I just invaded eastern africa and have 20k economy. I will try to do world conquest and make some video from that.

Okay, a bit of context on this post. I had some spare time today to add a few events to the Victorian Era scenario. And I added one event for the Taiping Rebellion to fire off, as you can see in this picture below. I added an option where you can play as the Taiping Kingdom, and I made it possible by having the Qing "form" the Taiping Kingdom and re-adding the Qing as an AI player. After testing it by playing as the Qing, while for the most part worked, the pictures for the Qing Emperor and Hong become swapped, imagine the profiles for both the Qing Emperor and the Taiping Ruler but reversed. I am not sure if I can call this a win and now poss…
