I have been creating my map and when i wanted to check if everything is okey it always crash now after i went in to army position editor and just clicked on a random province. I have repaired and that didnt work, i tried to look in the files for something to edit and find nothing. What shall i do? Edit: Now it just crash when i try to load in my world

Hello fellow conquerors. I was trying to delete the italian provices from the game, since I made a reddit post proposing the removal of Italy in the EU4 subreddit, then a guy made a mod about my post (for eu4). I wanted to port the mod into AoC2, since I created the meme. However, when I try deleting the italian (to be more specifc) province files (including prov scales) from the default Earth map and editing the config.json to lower the number of provinces of the map, when I start the game it just crashes on load, at 0%. I went over the whole forum trying to start making my own custom map but it just seems that no matter what I just can't get a custom map to load. So in the files below I made 3 provinces via the map editor followed the usual steps of editing config file, putting into the folders etc. I even didn't bother using a custom background. Any help would be welcome. Test.rar

I encountered very annoying bug when the tribal nation conquers other province it starts getting 0.42 technology every turn and after 4 turns it has 2.0 tech more than civilized.

I know several topics have already been pinned by Lukasz, but the tutorial video does nothing because nothing is explained, just shown. Plus I have no idea where I'm supposed to find a "PROV" file to copy over to my custom map, that wasn't explained either (yet somehow people know). I would like it if someone could please explain the process in simple terms if at all possible, because making a custom map for HoI is easier than what's available to me here (which is funny because I have never been able to get a successful custom map made there.) I'm frustrated, so I hope this isn't coming off too hostile or something.

I downloaded the map editor and i try to open it by clicking the .exe but it says "This application requires a Java Runtime environment 1.4.0" I tried downloading Java and even restarted my PC afterwards yet it still says it requires Java, The most recent version of Java it says on the Java website is "Version 8 Update 191" which i'm not sure if that is the version I need for AOC2 map editor. Help would be much appreciated, Thanks!

I created a map with Map Editor 2.0, but all provinces have similar population at start. How I can change it? For example, making deserted provinces the least populated and urban provinces the most populated.

So i've watched the video that Łukasz posted, but i still don't quite get how this stuff works. I tried to make a new province in Argentina, but it just cuts the older one instead of making a new one over it. Anybody knows how to fix this?

so here is the thing i was doing a map right i was at 85 provinces aprox. then i do some more and for some reason its crashing when i load the map it didnt happen before. and also its not the new provinces i literally deleted them and the map is not working im gonna leave the map and the background. I'm working on my own alternate history scenario but I can't find any decent background for it. The realistic ones look bad and the original one is just dull. I was looking for a darker background like in HoI4 with small details and I was wondering if anyone knew or could make one?
