I went over the whole forum trying to start making my own custom map but it just seems that no matter what I just can't get a custom map to load. So in the files below I made 3 provinces via the map editor followed the usual steps of editing config file, putting into the folders etc. I even didn't bother using a custom background. Any help would be welcome. Test.rar

I found a problem in my map editor and so when I create a new province it goes in a different type of code than the game accepts see example the Aoc2 and the editor please if anyone can tell me how to resolve tell me

Please... PLEASE. Add the provinces for san marino and vatican. If you can REALLY QUICKLY DO THAT and send me the file, you'll be my savior. I wanted to have the pope conquer everyone!!!! :))) (oh and sanmarino is just a nice thing to have...) SO YEAH PLEASE! (This is partly because map editor isn't working for me, if someone could help me with that instead, i could do this on my own!)

I decided to create a new map and started from Sudan, I drew all the provinces, did everything right. And then I launch the card already in the game itself and the game loads it by 51% and freezes. I encountered very annoying bug when the tribal nation conquers other province it starts getting 0.42 technology every turn and after 4 turns it has 2.0 tech more than civilized.

I have been away for 2 months and wanted to continue on my map i have been working on but i wanted to start from scratch but i can't get my new provinces to work, it just keep crashing. First i tried to just remove old provinces and made the same amount of provinces before but it crashes (btw my old provinces works so its not the map or anything) No matter what i do it crashes, is there a new map creator? Is there an update messing up the map creator? If i do the same thing i used to do why is it not working?

Hello, I create a WWI scenario but i have one problem : The population on colonies is too important ! In the reality, in 1914 , 25% of the world population is european ! I already looked at all the tutorials and all the topics Lukas made to help with explaining the Map Editor, and watched all the videos I could find, but nothing works. What I want is someone to make a video or doc file explaining in full and as much detail as possible to how the Map Editor works, and how to edit the exiting vanilla map, as well as to how to create, from scratch, an entirely new map. A tutorial that will leave the least amount of questions as possible. I already have the Map Editor. Where do I go from here?

I have been creating my map and when i wanted to check if everything is okey it always crash now after i went in to army position editor and just clicked on a random province. I have repaired and that didnt work, i tried to look in the files for something to edit and find nothing. What shall i do? Edit: Now it just crash when i try to load in my world

Hello, I am making a new map, I have noticed a few things that seem wrong. The custom map cannot be played (attempting only takes the player out to the previous menu instead of crashing though, so that's nice). Province 1 always looks like northern Spain, I'm 99% sure that's because of something in the scale folders but... well the scale folders cannot be edited under any circumstances before a crash. also some provinces seem a little wonky, at first I thought it was the map, but if you look, you can see that chiogia (prov0) appears exactly as it should whereas Venice (prov3) and porto viro (prov2) are stretched southwards.
