While playing the game, if you look into the sea map editor, or if you sail around the continents, you may find small areas of sea shaped like the continents near them. However, these are not classified as normal sea, but as lakes, so once you enter the area with a ship your army cannot leave. They are located north of the Continent in the case of Eurasia, or south of the continent with Australia, South America, and Africa. For North America, the strange continent-shaped sea is located southwest of Baffin Island. This bug can be annoying when you sail your army into it and you can't leave. However, it might be an Easter egg, but I doubt it.

This bug (i hope) has made it impossible for me to edit a current active custom made leader using the in game editor when you create a leader you put name, date of birth, the level of skils you want your leader to have, assigned country and the Image the leader uses then you press save. I would then assume that it would be added to the list of leaders so i could edit them later but when i search for them they are not there but the leader does exist i loaded up a game with a custom civ and leader and the leader and there skills and picture appeared but i could not find them in the leader list to possibly edit them in the future. When you encircle 200 enemy troops and theoretically they must starve of hunger, instead they put 10 in every fucking province and you must put soldiers from the main front back, the fronts were more stabil even in the first part!

Increasing taxes increases your deficit!

When you're running a deficit, for some reason increasing taxes actually makes you lose more money. Not only does this mean you must have taxes at 0 if you want to spend more than you earn, this also means increasing taxes has no benefit at all and has many downsides.

I played as Poland. France attacked Germany so I attacked Germany too. When France took over about a half of German provinces I united with them (with France). The provinces captured by France were in my territory. They were mine and I didn't have to declare peace to Germany to recrute army on them. Provinces that I captured were still German before signing peace treaty like it should be with French ones. AoC2.bmp

When you've been playing for a while, the opinions of some countries all of a sudden turn to zero. Even after trying to improve relations or after insulting the country, the opinion "counter" stays on zero.This is quite annoying, if your main tactic is forming alliances or annexing countries. The game still works, but the main factor which i enjoy the most is no longer there, which really takes a toll on how fun the game is. A fix or an explanation how to fix this is, is always welcome.

While making scenario for WWI, I encountered a bug that does not allow to assign cores if the neighboring province belongs to the same country. Here's an example: You can see what ""Targu Mures"" has 65% of Romanians, as Editor shows it. But when we start new game we see this: And there's no any 65% Romanian population as it is in editor.

Two states are in Europe near Crimea are tagged with being in Asia. This gets annoying when trying to make a custom scenario. also a random heads up, in the scenario 5 and maybe in a few other scenarios, Dacia and the Sarmatians are blocked by a wasteland province next to balti and Okny.

Sometimes I will come back to my scenario and certain annexation event outcomes will be "corrupted" in the sense that the original owner and new owner are now random (Example: original event: Germany takes from France new event: British Malaya takes from Italy)

So I have come across something... Unusual. When dividing land during a peace treaty with allies, apparently, removing land from allies, or taking the same province that an ally wanted to take, will make you or the ally lose points, without actually getting the territory. There are some extra instances like that, for example by playing around with taking land for other nations (I don’t remember exactly how I did it) you can get a pretty much infinite number of territory. I decided not to test out whether the game would let me take the territories all for myself, in fear of breaking the game.
