a while ago i made those two topics and my idea proposes to add both or atleast one of these two, more specifically the first one would be nice for medieval scenarios and would prevent blobbing if done on its own or combined with the second concept @Łukasz Jakowski thoughts?

New War System 1 2

@Łukasz Jakowski Hello everyone, I am writing this suggestion because I feel that the war declaration system is poorly done and as you progress through the game the maps will become very distorted. What I mean, well, all of us who have played Age of History II know that with the current war system countries conquer provinces without sense and the maps are deformed in a bad way making that as you advance in the game the maps are horrible and lose realism. So to solve this problem I propose to change the war system depending on the era, it sounds complicated, but it is not, now I will explain it better. I propose that there should be a diplomacy section (I t…

In AOH2, Colonial france for example had 100% cores over all its territory and could recruit from them as if they were french ethnically, will we see a change to this feature adding for example kurdistan cores in the 2022 scenario and adding all the colonial cores in the ww1/ww2 scenarios? another issue was that in the old game, you couldn't edit the starter scenarios like 1440 or 1200, no matter what you did it was erased @Łukasz Jakowskiwill this be fixed in AOH3?

The higher/better the economy is, the more ships tend to flow into ports and trade with you.

The Idea is: ANY wars fought by European Powers In the America's - Africa - Or Asia will get massive debuffs for the foreign nation and will always give massive debuffs to the foreign power, making the war much harder to win, BUT winning such war could give the player the Colonial act automatically without research note that the AI will never declare wars like this, this is a very hard shortcut for the player, and it's more of a meatgrinder since the feature would make gaining warscore very hard

It would be nice if there was a tab somewhere in the game that allowed us to see a list of all the wars we had fought with short information such as: how long the war lasted, whether we were the attackers or defended, whether we were the main party to the conflict or maybe we participated in it as an ally, what there were casualities, the name of the war (e.g. the First Russian-Turkish War and so on), the years in which the war was fought and finally whether we were the winning or losing side

The Idea is: similar to how the world map is divided into continents, each continent would be divided into regions, Examples would be Silesia, The Rhineland, Pomerania, Etc, in Modern Peace treaties Post 1791, instead of the AI annexing what they can without looking out for the regions like they would dp before, AI will now opt to spend all its points in annexing entire regions and puppeting rather than randomly annexing large blobs, additionally land would cost way more points post the french revolution because historically after that point an entire nation could be occupied and they still wouldn't be completely annexed (note that this is for civs of the european group O…

I made a basic plot maker, which can't be used normally at present, because the Y axis is up and it's on the Android side. You can download it and change it if necessary, and the compressed package has not been compiled. mapmaker.zip mapmaker.zip

If we defeat a country in war, we should have the option of converting that state and its leander to our religion while making peace

U recruit them like any regular units and can only do that in costal provinces, then they just act like real units and are only able to move in water provinces easy lol with a image of a navy ship as their image but unit fighting remains same wait I didn't think of the last part but anyway maybe a specfic battle system for that and everything else is same as normal land units requiring and same thing basically but simply a different mechanic easy!

Example: An Iranian Kingdom during the 10th century fights in sindh and larps its way into india, when the empire fights any war in india it will get a 40% debuff for military victory that would only change if they fight atleast 2 wars and have a warscore higher than 30%, after that the debuff would become lesser BUT the region in iran would slowly become harder to defend until it is lost, this shift can only happen ONCE and after that the empire would have big debuffs fighting anywhere else unless they unlock the colonial decree

I think it is a good idea to add garason's army it will make forts more useful, and it will ensure that taking one will be quite costly and needs planning and not just taking a fortified province for free Also it could fix the problem with modern combat style Because now you can have your whole border protected and your main army as an offensive force Or you could make it in modern scenarios that your army as garason's units and you can call them to make a attacking army

I Made this topic before but it got deleted for some reason but here it is: the terrain details on the map could change based on whether the province is a desert or a forest etc and the color of the province would appear based on that also in the map, this can be done by making each biome have a different map detail overlay tile that appears when the terrain changes, this could be seen in the large map aswell, allowing for youtubers like drew durnil for example to make some pretty cool content i genuinely don't know what happened to the old post, is lukasz upset with me or smth

Hello, dear Jakowski, I think a scenario in which the Turks entered Anatolia in 1071 or a scenario about the wars of the Anatolian Seljuks with the Byzantines and the Mongols would be nice, because the Turks' entry into Anatolia in 1453 is a big event for both Europe and Asia. This can be done in events. I wish you good luck with your game, greetings from Turkey.

What About This - someone makes a website that makes text file events way easier for everyone? this keeps in the text file format and fixes the issue you guys have with the old editor while not upsetting android users

Sadly nearly ALL THE EDITOR FEATURES HAVE BEEN LOCKED BEHIND TXT FILES, EVEN CREATING CUSTOM CIVS, which i find very annoying and completely destroys the charm of aoh2 where anyone from mobile or PC could Add their Own Civilizations and events and someone using android could do everything someone on PC could, now it feels like its not only locked in for PC users since such files wont be as accessible for android users without certain apps (and nobody is going to click through 234093543 files just to add a new custom civilization on android since most of the android gamers are very young people who don't know all that) and also it feels like its moving towards a modder spe…

After the conquest of Istanbul, Pope John II. He made an offer to Mehmet and the offer said: If you become a Christian, you will be the leader of Europe Thereupon, an event happened to the Ottomans in 1453: Either become Christian or remain Muslim. If we become Christians let us join the Holy Rome

Every country has certain countries with which it is more willing to cooperate. I propose to introduce a "friends" option that works exactly the same as the rivals option; instead of making the relationship worse faster, it improve the relationship faster For example Poland and Hungary

Trade System: Create a dynamic trade system where players can exchange resources. The value of resources can fluctuate based on supply and demand, encouraging players to strategically trade for maximum profit. Army Supply System: Implement a system where armies need a continuous supply of resources to maintain their strength. This includes weapons, armor, and other equipment. Players must ensure their supply lines are secure and efficient to keep their armies at peak performance. Food and Production Mechanics: Incorporate the need for food for both civilian population and armies. Players need to manage th…
