Too bad upgrading the capital is a cheap number like 250 gold, The other upgrades are the same way and my suggestion is this: Upgrades should be priced according to the country's scores Example: The price of upgrading the capital city (Berlin): 8000 gold Capital(Trieste) upgrade price:1000 gold Military academy (Ottomans) upgrade price:9000 gold Military academy (Byzantine) upgrade price:4000 gold These values can be priced with a specific calculation. As the country grows (income and scores), the price increases @Lukasz Jakowski

Hello my vassals and my fellow lords, today we are talking about mercenaries and them rising up. Now before we get into the meat of this manuscript, I hope you enjoy. Now lets us begin. Hiring There will be tab in the recruitment section which has mercenaries. Now I will give you two ways to do this and you will decide which one you like more. Hiring from companies or regular simple hiring. Lets start with hiring from companies, clicking the mercenary tab you'll see mercenary groups. (Examples: Wagner, Swiss Guard). And choose one and soon the army give chosen will arrive in your capitol for you to order. Now the simple one, hire mercenaries in the mercenary tab…

Each country should have a "rage score" in addition to normal relations, which would reflect how angry a nation is with another, on a scale of 0-100. This rage score would increase based on the following: Invading a neighboring country Invading an ally Invading a country of similar strength For example, if France annexes a small African country in 1850, Europe should care little, but if it annexes Belgium, both Austria and the United Kingdom should experience a significant rise in their rage score and form a coalition. The relationship system should also affect this; for example, if France and the Ottoman Empire have +80 relations, the Ottomans w…

AI aggressiveness being different for countries is a very good feature for AI diversity. But it can be extended by adding something similar for diplomacy and economy. Each opposition is complementary, so if the country is aggressive by 1800 points, the peaceful point is -200. And it can also be related to government. Aggressiveness: Diplomacy : This will decide if the civilization would like to interact with other ones. Open Diplomacy: The civilization would like to create an alliance and have an open diplomatic tab, which could interact with bordering and non-bordering civilizations. Isolationist Diplomacy: The civilization wou…

Hi. New video revealed AI behavior to us. Let's discuss it here! So my observations are: Lukasz destroyed all the armies with no problem. England and France are both extremely passive. Spain conquered Portugal, and Aragon conquered Spain. Ottoman disappeared from the map. It looks like Lukasz once again tried to make the game "balanced" by reducing some economies, resulting in civilizations being +- same in terms of power.🙂 I'm not sure if Lithuania is able to manage its vassals well. Also, if conquered provinces have no border with the main domain, the conqueror should create a new vassal rather than taking provinces to himself. I'm curious if AI has …

I think that bulidings gives a bit too big bonuses. Maybe the are also to cheap. And I have a request. In AoH 2, along with the economic growth, the building prices went up. I really liked this mechanism. Would it be possible to make it so that in AoH 3, along with the economic growth, the building prices would also go up slightly (but not as much as in AoH 2)? Or with inflation

So if you are building something it should require manpower after you press build it should take 100/200~ manpower away from you and when building is built then the 100/200~ manpower cames back

the 1440 scenario printout is so outdated that it doesn't have neither puppets, small island nations, the new world, or even all the new weird puppet stuff added to Lithuania for example, it's so outdated and weird and all it would take is to just make a new printout and edit the title to emphasize that the scenario is done also blease do that for the rest of the scenarios @Łukasz Jakowski PLEASE BRO IT'S SO EASY BUT SO NICE TO DO

(Im Brazillian, sorry for my bad english) Hi im a little late now, but pillaging is my favorite mechanic in the game and i don't really see it in the AoH3 videos nor i see it being debated on here. I can't see it if it was removed entirely from the third game but it seems so. The game already has a release date so maybe it is too late for Mr Łukasz to work this out but it would be really appreciated if he would. Most importantly, it should be made in a way to make it more worth doing (pillaging in AoH2 rewards little gold for the amount of destruction it causes) like PHZanoni has done in Megamod, in which pillaging efficiency rises up to 2000% instead of just 100%, m…

Dear Lukasz Jakowski, I watched your latest game video, but unfortunately, I didn't see a game as good as I expected. Perhaps it's because you focus solely on warfare, but based on the information you have shared so far and various videos, I must say that the game appears to be quite shallow and lacking depth. Additionally, many of my ideas were not acknowledged in the community or forums, which truly saddened me. Therefore, I would like to share all my ideas again in a single text. 1. **Poor Diplomacy Artificial Intelligence (AI):** It seems that the diplomacy mechanics in the game are similar to Age of History 2, if not worse. The AI behavior is poor, econom…

@Łukasz Jakowski, is it possible to add a function to the game that countries would have pretensions to the territories of other countries. For example, if a certain territory used to belong to one country and now belongs to another, or on the territory of one country there is a large national diaspora of another (or there are more people of nationality of the other country) - then it is necessary to give an permanent claim or for a certain period of time for this province idea belongs @Денис Живков

I think that having more space for texts in the description of events would greatly improve the game, even though it is something considerably simple, for people who intend to make mods it will be very useful. It would also be nice to have a tree of examples, like a square that would be in the right corner of the screen and that would kind of link one event to another, similar to the hoi4 focus tree, except that in this case it would only serve to indicate some events (not all ) for people who create mods, I think it will be a great addition.

Empire A monarchic civilization reaches some specific traits, it is a proclaimed empire. Centralization is important to build an empire. For example, Lithuania was weaker than Poland because The Grand Duchy did not have a strong central government, and its political structure was decentralized, with many local and regional rulers having significant autonomy (From Quora). So even if Lithuania checks all conditions, it can't become an empire because it is Decentralized. Province Number Aggressive expansion Manpower …

Example changes: -Fascism would make the bot focus more on developing the army and make it more aggressive, and expansionist towards countries where it has a national minority or lands that previously belonged to it. -Communism would make the bot focus more on agriculture and industry and be aggressive towards non-communist countries, especially monarchies. -Theocracy would make the bot more friendly towards countries of the same Religion and more aggressive towards countries with a different Religion. -Democratic bot would be less aggressive and would focus on research and economic growth

Good evening, Lukasz. I have a question, why don't you put AOH3 up for pre-order? It would be easier to buy and on the day it's released we could already download it instead of buying it. (I say this because my Steam has some transaction bugs)

Would it be a good idea to have a coat of arms next to the flag and we can make coats of arms as we want as well as for flags? For example, there can be a coat of arms.

Can the music in the game change according to the eras? For example, can the music change to reflect the year, such as using music from the 1400s for that era and music from the 1900s for that period

Suggests adding a mode that disables diplomacy for ai. This will help mods that rely mainly on events, like tno or napolenic reich

I commented this on Youtube on the latest AOH3 video so I'll just copy and paste it here: Can the AI also release vassals with it's selected provinces, go colonize the new world, or merge (by annexing for an example) and form new empires like Austria-Hungary? something like that would be really cool especially if there would be a scramble to colonize Africa and other regions during a time period like an "Age of colonization" or an "Age of expansion" So basically can the AI do the same things as the player can, something like releasing vassals is a thing I personally haven't seen ever happening in AOH2, also, this is just my opinion, but I think the endgames in A…

Border gore hurts my eyes so much. There are a few problems in the current version of AoH3: Having vassals is too strong, but at the same time the AI does not create vassals. Therefore, countries that start the game with vassals will be unbeatable. Likewise, the player, as the only thinking being in the game, will be unbeatable when freeing his vassals (because AI doesn't create vassals) There must be an option to annex vassals. Otherwise, the borders will be so painful that the game will be unplayable If there is an option to annex vassals, there must also be an option for the vassal to rebel against the lord (The film shows that England has vassalize…
