So your new to the game and you want to be able yo win your first game no problem well In AOC2 theres a couple of things you can do which I will tell you about and how too. So your on a scenario and have chose your nation DONT START THE GAME YET or this will not work. Choose your nation then look in the bottom left corner and click options/settings This only works on the paid version btw. Next there will be alot of options, first turn fog of war off, this allows you to see the amount of troops everyone has which is very helpful. The 70 Years Rule Have this happened to you before: you created a leader for a scenario but instead of him appearing, an older leader appears. Why does it happen? Shouldn't the game pick the youngest leader for a civilization in a scenario? Or does it? Through trial and error, a condition was found on the game leader selection mechanism. I'll describe it in a short phrase: A Leader has a lifespan of 70 years. Should it be 70 years old at a scenario, the next youngest leader appears. Leaders have this weird condition where they "die" at 70 years, and they rule the country until birth to death. To explain this better, here I made these pictures…

Creating a new map from scratch by hand is a super tedious work, even with the help of Map Editor 2. However, since the outcome of the map editor is written in plain text: for example, for each province's file, the y-axis coordinates come first and then a `;` and then the x-axis coordinates. Thus I programmed a image-based auto contour drawer using python, which created over 2000+ provinces in less than an hour. BTW, it works well. However, the generated provinces are not linked, all the tutorials online indicate that we need to manually add the links in the map editor in game. I have seen plenty of people asking how to do this. The process isn't very neat and is easy to mess up so it is advisable to save before doing it.I will assume that you can use console commands. There are plenty of tutorials for that. Here it goes. Let's take Germany and France as our example. You're Germany and want to switch to France. Use console command addplayer to control France. Some people might be thinking of how to change country at mid-game, well here is how: 1) When you want to change countries save the game(this is optional, but its recommended, because then you can go back to it) 2) Go to the main menu 3) Go to editor menu, but don't click in any of the submenus. 4) Go to New game, and then you can select civilization to play as. 5) Done! So yesterday I watched a video of someone playing as a north american tribe, It was a 25 minute video and he conquered NOTHING he was talking about economy and development and shit when he should've migrated close to other tribes, raised a 250 man army and conquered them! Why do some people think so much about economy, like I get it when you are reasonably big and you can invest up to 50k in your provinces but not when you are a 1 province tribe, I said it and I'm gonna say it again, as a tribe you have to CONQUER other tribes and then grow your economy and become a minarchy!
