Campaign: Small Scenarios
Łukasz Jakowski posted a topic in Ideas,
In this topic, share your ideas for Campaign scenarios.
These scenarios focus on a small part of the map, with the rest designated as wasteland.
For example, a scenario of the Reconquista in 1054, where gameplay takes place only on the Iberian Peninsula.
What are your ideas for small historical scenarios?

Events - Common events for every civilization in the game
Łukasz Jakowski posted a topic in Ideas,
Hi,
in this topic, I am interested in your ideas for events that can happen for every Civilization in the game.
I'm also interested in Missions for every Civilization.
Here is some example, have more than 10k army, have more than 5000 gold, build 10 buildings, recruit an Advisor, increase tax efficiency 20 times, be largest producer of some resource in the world, unlock 5 Civilization legacies etc.- 196 replies

Land units - Ideas AoH3
Łukasz Jakowski posted a topic in Ideas,
AoH3 will have different types of land units.
In this topic we will write ideas for new land units.
So the AoH 3 will have new battle system.
Representation of the battlefield in the game.
Land units will be grouped into 3 types. Each unit will have a different recruitment cost, attack, defense, movement speed and upkeep.
Groups determine the placement of units on the battlefield.
Each unit can be unlocked by researching technology and then upgraded.
Here is the current list of units with upgrades:
First line:
Warrior -> Light Footmen -> Heavy Infantry -> Infantry -> Line Infantry -> Modern Infantry
Hoplites -> Spearmen -> Pikeman -> Elite Pikeman -> Musketeer -> Riflemen -> Mechanized Infantry -> Modern Mechanized Infantry
First line side:
Horseman -> Elite Horseman -> Cavalry -> Tank -> Modern Tank
Second line:
Archer -> Bowmen -> Crossbowman -> Elite Crossbowman
Canon -> Field Cannon -> Artillery -> Modern Artillery
Early Airplane -> Airplane -> Modern Airplane
This is a very early version, so maybe something should be changed?
Or maybe an idea for a new type of unit with upgrades? I'm waiting for your suggestions.

Łukasz Jakowski,
So i've ran into a problem with the game's event system when trying to make a ww1 scenario with events in the bloody europe 2 map. The problem is caused by the fact that the ai can only have one event per turn. So when i was making the collapse of russia, i had made two events for Germany in the same turn. The decision of what to do with Poland, and the decision of what to do with Latvia and a part of Estonia. The ai could only do one event, so it did the baltic one. This meant that Poland reverted back to Russian control in a few turns. I tried to fix this by making the events repeatable but in a way that once they had been done, their conditions couldn't be met anymore( for ex. Establishing polish duchy or partitioning them. The event shouldn't fire again if Poland already existed or if Germany controlled certain provinces). This didn't work, so the events just kept repeating infinitely. Does someone know a way to make the ai do both of the events, or a way to make sure the events wouldn't repeat?
Appreciate if anyone could help

Map 1. Map one turn after Russia's collapse
https://imgflip.com/i/4u2u70
Map 2. Map some time after Russia's collapse. As you can see, Russia got Poland back and germany kept changing the decisions outcome meaning the baltic changes too

Baltic event 1. The things supposed to prevent the event from refiring. Germany cant control land there and the puppets made through other outcomes can't exist

Baltic event 2. For the event to fire in the first place, Russian empire needs to have taken this decision, the one that causes the collapse of Russian empire.

Polish event 1. The top one says that the Polish kingdom can't already exist. The second one says that Germany can't control certain provinces in the Polish land(The old Russian Poland). These are to prevent the event from refiring
The third ane fourth one say that either the Russian empire needs to have taken the decision that causes the collapse of the empire, or the Russian state needs to exist, which is created when the empire collapses.
