What are the code differences between the 2 versions?

BE 1.1.8 is more basic, having features such as capitulation system, new technology trees, larger population and economy in editor, better A.I etc. BE 1.2.2.1 is more complex, having features such an auto plan option to wars, background in loading screen, new main menu, nukes, auto assimilation etc. Personally, I prefer the 1.1.8 because it adds simple mechanics yet essential to AoC2. 1.2.2.1 is far too complex and deviates from what aoc2's purpose is, which is being a simple game to learn, yet hard to master.

For me, 1.2.2.1 changed some mechanic that i used to such as control ally nation in peace negotiation or call allies to war
