Age of History II - Deluxe is a mod/unofficial update of the game which focuses on adding more quality of life features such as better scenarios, more needed provinces as well as tons of new Civilizations.

I am not adding provinces to make the game more challenging, instead they are to fix borders and make new scenario possibilities as well as improve some of the realism.

 

What will be in AOH II Deluxe?
-Scenarios (Based on 1900-2100)

-Civilizations (Subdivisions, formables, fictional countries, historicals, government types, etc.)

-New Governments (Constitutional Monarchy, Theocracy, Socialism, Nationalism)

-Provinces for better borders and historical accuracy.

-A new background

-Many new flags

-New Music

-Current World Scenario: Set in 2025, this scenario shows a de-facto map of our planet, with alliances, relations, rebellions, etc.

(The original AoC2 scenarios will not be edited, there will only be extra remasters and different versions of those!)

exception: Adding new provinces that represent nations not included in the modern world will be included though, in the same way as they were added for the modern world scenario.

Ex. If I add Martinique province (i already did by the way) in the modern world scenario it will be added as martinique and not a province owned by france, rather as an Independent Country, because thats how it works in regular Vanilla Modern World

1. Can you add Ernst Thalmann island? If so in the modern world give it to East Germany since it was a gift from Cuba and in the reunion treaty with West Germany Ernst Thalmann Island was never included in the treaty. image.thumb.png.95d83339ec7b1800ac03c55ab9a3abbc.png

Okay, so... About 2 weeks ago my father bought me a brand new computer. It shoudln't have any problems... But... all my newer backups of 0.1.4 Dev are in that broken computer. My best thing to do is to take out the hard drive and extract the files, but i do not have a SATA USB adapter, which is what i need to access the files.

I will try to get one, but for now all we can do is wait...

 

I will TRY to access those files, my latest backup of 0.1.4 doesn't have the many updates that i had put into it during September and October.

 

(I know lots about computers and their components so don't worry about me accessing the files, but do worry about me getting that dumb adapter i dont have)

      Here is some example, have more than 10k army, have more than 5000 gold, build 10 buildings, recruit an Advisor, increase tax efficiency 20 times, be largest  producer of some resource in the world, unlock 5 Civilization legacies etc.

      AoH3 will have different types of land units.

      In this topic we will write ideas for new land units. 

       

      So the AoH 3 will have new battle system.


      Representation of the battlefield in the game.


      Land units will be grouped into 3 types. Each unit will have a different recruitment cost, attack, defense, movement speed and upkeep.

      Groups determine the placement of units on the battlefield.


       

      Each unit can be unlocked by researching technology and then upgraded.

       

      Here is the current list of units with upgrades:

      First line:

      Warrior -> Light Footmen -> Heavy Infantry -> Infantry -> Line Infantry -> Modern Infantry

      Hoplites -> Spearmen -> Pikeman -> Elite Pikeman -> Musketeer -> Riflemen -> Mechanized Infantry -> Modern Mechanized Infantry

      First line side:

      Horseman -> Elite Horseman -> Cavalry -> Tank -> Modern Tank

      Second line:

      Archer -> Bowmen -> Crossbowman -> Elite Crossbowman

      Canon -> Field Cannon -> Artillery -> Modern Artillery

      Early Airplane -> Airplane -> Modern Airplane

       

      This is a very early version, so maybe something should be changed?

      Or maybe an idea for a new type of unit with upgrades? I'm waiting for your suggestions.
