Mine Ideas (Border conflict cataloging scenarios etc.)

Weather System
Adding weather conditions that behave specifically in different parts of the world, you can add a climate map like in aoh2 and each type of climate will have different weather behaviors + adding rare weather disasters + temperature weather can also influance to army like when rainy its making mud and give some minuses to army especially tanks

River Crossing

in aoh2 there was connection between provinces system i saw in aoh3 also there is so add special connection that will name river cross and make it between 2 provinces between which is river 

on map lets say dark blue is river and light blue will be a connection between provinces separate by river that specific type of connection give bonuses to defence and minuses to attack (possible add few types of rivers)

Collapse System+

So i would like to see a collapse system it could works like when the state will be in debt for a long time or will have low happines for a long time or even some war fatigue, if there is such a statistic in the game then the state will fall apart like the Soviet Union, I would also see rebellions in the style of Cossack rebellions on the lands of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth so it would be nice if the AI in the game focused more on liberating smaller countries after conquering them, if we are talking about larger wars, and possibly giving them as vassals. It would be cool also about rebellions if there was something like  ideological rebels that conquer all country and changing ideology and after success you can now play as country with that ideology (you cant change it till next ruler comes) or you can give up game .I would also like to propose a game mode in which there is no option to conquer the entire world, even if you control a large part of it, suddenly there will be a lot of rebellions to give maximum realism, because despite such a large number of countries that could conquer the entire world, no one has ever managed to do 

Another idea is some law about private armies and how much loyal they are to you and they can back stab you actually all armies should have like loyality level but about those private armies so you not have to pay for them but when you want them to join your war you have to rent them

 

Another idea is just to play underground state and make rebbelions

IN-GAME Achivments

some basic achivments in game (not in steam) that could be editable so every modder could make own achivments for their mod (options like form union take some land as [example country] to get some leader to make [amount] army as some country or economy actually there should be multiple options it would be cool, also posible to add custom icon to achivments

in aoh3 you have laws there should be law to private armies be legal or illigal if legal then there is a chance that the army will create on its own but you have to hire them, also the army can take part in war that your country is not in withourt your permision  also there should be in spy system something like you can you can try take private army of enemy country (but it should be hard to do)

Some mechanic tweaks

so when make civilisation in game and set color there should be multiple options of picking a color i mean HSL, RGB, HSV, CMYK and HEX it helps when making civ as i remember there were only RGB in AOH2

next option we should be able to use ctrl+v in game when you try paste text from internet in every text box 

and Ctrl+Z in game editors (back to previous action)

More Capitals

we should have option to add more than one capital ( depends on govrment ideology how much we can have) each capital should take cash from you but make more happiness in near provinces i would say monarchy related ideologies max 2 capital and democracy related max 3 all totalitarian should have max 1

Influence Zone

it would be nice to see something like a sphere of influence in the game that would operate under alliances as it happens in the real world, as example Russian influence in Venezuela, to create a sphere of influence you would need to have an appropriate level of technology + some research, money and maybe even a building (build only in the capital) since I have already said this, now how to add a country to the influence zone, you need to have influence points (I would add them to the game, or if you don't see same as me, use some existing diplomacy points) relations with a given country must be high (unless you support rebels in a certain country, then you can include them more easily in the zone of influence) additionally, the mechanics of world war, if there are a lot of conflicts between countries in two different influence zones, a world war breaks out and most of the countries in both zones join in. The country profits from having an influence zone, it can exploit the countries in terms of materials, if the level of the exploited country would be low enough, in addition, if something goes wrong with the country in the influence zone, anxiety increases in the countries affected by the influence, and revolts may break out, etc. the duty of a country with an influence zone is to maintain peace between the countries in its zone, the countries will expect military support in the event of a conflict. if you attack a country in your sphere of influence, other countries may start leaving your sphere of influence or joining another. countries from the influence zone can exert influence on countries even on the player (they will not be excessive). inflation in a country with a zone affects inflation in other countries

 

PS Łukasz I really want to see the achievements I mentioned earlier, my arguments are it will make the game more interesting to play, if modders will be able to create their own game achievments, for example as the dlc for hoi4, it's often not about playing because it's a cool dlc, it's only about new achievements, people like challenges and if modders will be able to create their own  maybe the game will live until aoh4 appears @Łukasz Jakowski sorry for ping

and there would be something like you and bot can "start border conflict" it would battle for 1 provinces (possible as separatist puppet states)

SCENARIO CATALOGING

I would also appreciate some scenario cataloging, creating folders for example "scenario 1000-1500" "alternative history" and others also search bar to search scenario

SEA PROVINCE CONTROL

I think it's easier to explain it with an example, currently there are islands in the game that are useless like Falklands, Bermuda etc but adding them wouldn't be like that, well, the sea is controlled by the countries bordering on this sea province, control over the sea gives: money (a kind of fee for transporting raw materials between countries , the ability to lock a sea province if you control 100% for a while, but let's say a random country can insult you, destroying a certain percentage of the army of the country you are at war with (obviously not too big to be playable) you can also build naval bases to increase the defense of your army in this sea province or increase the attack

ADMIN DIVISION

Admin divison system like in real world divide your country into small divisions (like Bavaria, Oregon) you could build one type of building in every province in state also gives more stability (if same ethnic group) abillity to give autonomy (few types of autonomy) (improve stability gives army etc) also very cool if there was leaders of province and flag (autonomy state can refuse you if u want to build something on their territory, relations with ethnic groups in your country and relation with your states if you neglect some province there will be more chance to rebelion)

COAT OF ARMS

Add on a info bar country coat of arms

NEW MAP MODE

A map mode that would overlay the civilization's flag instead of the civilization's color like this https://pl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plik:Flag_Map_of_Europe.png just for fun

    • Land units - Ideas AoH3
      AoH3 will have different types of land units.

      In this topic we will write ideas for new land units. 

       

      So the AoH 3 will have new battle system.


      Representation of the battlefield in the game.


      Land units will be grouped into 3 types. Each unit will have a different recruitment cost, attack, defense, movement speed and upkeep.

      Groups determine the placement of units on the battlefield.


       

      Each unit can be unlocked by researching technology and then upgraded.

       

      Here is the current list of units with upgrades:

      First line:

      Warrior -> Light Footmen -> Heavy Infantry -> Infantry -> Line Infantry -> Modern Infantry

      Hoplites -> Spearmen -> Pikeman -> Elite Pikeman -> Musketeer -> Riflemen -> Mechanized Infantry -> Modern Mechanized Infantry

      First line side:

      Horseman -> Elite Horseman -> Cavalry -> Tank -> Modern Tank

      Second line:

      Archer -> Bowmen -> Crossbowman -> Elite Crossbowman

      Canon -> Field Cannon -> Artillery -> Modern Artillery

      Early Airplane -> Airplane -> Modern Airplane

       

      This is a very early version, so maybe something should be changed?
