I think it's would be more realistic if the population numbers is more accurate but you don't need to change it every week.

It can be based in 2023 IN MODERN DAY

example: 

US: 339 000 000 

France : 68 000 000

AND 1939 FOR WW2, etc....

Yes I like this idea For example, a country's city will always be more crowded. It could be Buddha. And it could be ethnic backgrounds.

but you have do make like development more relevant so that india wont become op at the start date

also for some reason smaller countries have bigger economy then they should have but lukasz pronably wanted to balance things out a bit
