Approval Rate

Approval Rate
The effects of approval rate scale linearly from the worst at 0 to the best at 100:

Variable                            0%    50%    100%
National unrest               +5       0        −5
Rebellions Factor           +15       0      -15
Income from vassals    −15%    0      +15%
Diplomacy Point Gain    -25%     0      +25%

Low Approval Rate creates more rebellions and destabilizes the country.

What do you think about this?

what changes the Approval Rate

Hmm,

Superpowers: in peace +0.5 in war -0.5, and if religios unity is over 80% +0.3 below 80% -0.5 each month

Great powers: in peace +0.4 in war -0.4 and if religios unity is over 80% +0.3 below 80% -0.5 each month

Regional powers: in peace +0.3 in war -0.3 and if religios unity is over 80% +0.03 below 80% -0.5 each month

If Aggresive expansion is more than 10% -1 and less than 10% nothing changes.

and one more passive, if the rulers rule the country more than 120 months, gets +0.5 each month.

Maybe with events it can increase and decrease also?

I have one more idea, if the rulers change approval rate decreases to the 30% automaticly.

Common events that give the civilization a choice between 2 decisions to make, for example: that will either benefit the economy or benefit the population

Event: Workers demands:

Workers in our civilization are exhausted by the low wages and extremely high work hours, they demand less hours of work and a higher wage.

Trigger: economy>5, chance: 75%

Decision 1: Accept the demands: Lowers income and economy growth rate, approval rate increases

Decision 2: Reject the demands: Income and economy growth rate stays the same, but approval rate decreases

Maybe relations too, like when France supports Ukraine, since relations between Ukraine and Russia are bad, relations between France and Russia decrease automatically. And also relation between countries with different ideologies and alliance, but it doesn't need to be implemented every time : USA had bad relations with USSR, so USA had bad relation with all countries in Warsaw pact, and all communist/socialist countries.

Like this, we can have realistic relations.
