It's a great idea but poorly done, it was extremely easy, I thought it would be the same in Hoi4 but completely different and much worse!

I Definitely think Planning Invasion Should Divide the army into divisions based on where they are fighting by making a list of all the major cities and the level of fortification, example: 

you send 10k Musketeers to Conquer North france in the napoleonic wars, AI will automatically send 3k musketeers with most of the Stronger/Higher Morale Units to besiege the city with the highest fortification level and toughest terrain (paris in this example) while dividing the rest of the weaker troops on surrounding weaker fortresses and fighting armies on the field of battle, also AI would Auto Assign The Best General You Have To The Bigger Army

agreed, but i think we forget the game is alpha, meaning its missing many features, i do hope he improves on this tho

its easy because the game has zero functional AI capabilities yet, you can't lose a war if your not fighting anybody, IRL bengal would have bodied this war even if they had trash AI

If you can split units you can do it before invasion. It makes no sense for a sent army to divide during the march. It will be much easier to destroy this army. Additionally, according to your idea, if you have 3 troops in your army, you will only be able to send them to occupy three provinces.

Perfectly made. An army should not divide after being deployed. If you want to divide the army, you should do it in advance

What if I want to send 10,000 musketeers, and because of your idea, the AI will divide my army, making my army weaker? Bad idea in my opinion
If you want to divide your army, do it before the invasion. Divide it as you want and send some units to one place and others to another place

In AoH 2, it was very annoying to have 10 units scattering to each side, even if they had no chance of surviving.
It seems to me that you are literally proposing that AoH 3 will be exactly the same because of this division of units

Since there is a mechanic that you have to siege provinces to capture them slowing the invader, I think it may be easier to prevent such stuff from happening, and the ai should focus mainly defeating armies instead of sending their army to move in the middle of nowhere

And If I won the Goal 1 I would get a bonus and Poland would have a debuff. If Poland could defend and attack Berlin I would get a debuff.

Hope thats added! I would also like something like objectives for your nation in general. (Not focus trees, or EU4 objectives/missions) Maybe something original IDK what could it be.

    • Land units - Ideas AoH3
      AoH3 will have different types of land units.

      In this topic we will write ideas for new land units. 

       

      So the AoH 3 will have new battle system.


      Representation of the battlefield in the game.


      Land units will be grouped into 3 types. Each unit will have a different recruitment cost, attack, defense, movement speed and upkeep.

      Groups determine the placement of units on the battlefield.


       

      Each unit can be unlocked by researching technology and then upgraded.

       

      Here is the current list of units with upgrades:

      First line:

      Warrior -> Light Footmen -> Heavy Infantry -> Infantry -> Line Infantry -> Modern Infantry

      Hoplites -> Spearmen -> Pikeman -> Elite Pikeman -> Musketeer -> Riflemen -> Mechanized Infantry -> Modern Mechanized Infantry

      First line side:

      Horseman -> Elite Horseman -> Cavalry -> Tank -> Modern Tank

      Second line:

      Archer -> Bowmen -> Crossbowman -> Elite Crossbowman

      Canon -> Field Cannon -> Artillery -> Modern Artillery

      Early Airplane -> Airplane -> Modern Airplane

       

      This is a very early version, so maybe something should be changed?

      Or maybe an idea for a new type of unit with upgrades? I'm waiting for your suggestions.
