AoC2 account was stolen

Hi everyone, I had my AoC2 account stolen the other day. I had a break in the game for about a month, just a couple of days ago I try to log in to my account, and I write wrong password, when trying to restore the password through the mail, the message comes not to my mail. Can you please tell me how to protect myself so that in the future I will not face such a problem?

Perhaps you are just entering your password incorrectly? Okay, I'm sure you wouldn't just write that. How do you keep yourself safe? You should stop sharing your account details with strangers and stop clicking on various links, I'm sure this will reduce the risk of theft by 70 percent.

I've double-checked my password a thousand times, I haven't clicked on any links either and only a few of my friends have the account details, but I trust them completely, it's out of the question

I don't mean to insult you, but I think you're too gullible. It seems to me that this is the work of people who have login data for your account, otherwise I do not see how else it could have been stolen, since you say that you do not follow links, the only thing that remains is the login data.
