Hey, Lukas, will you add the effect of malaria in the provinces of Africa to make colonization more plausible?

This effect will slow down the progress of colonization, you can also add quinine technology (a cure for malaria), after which the effect will lose its power. Or do it through a chain of systemic events, following which you can get a vaccine against malaria

Good idea. In principle, it will be good if some provinces may have different properties. And the negative ones are both certain persistent diseases or unstable tectonics, and positive ones like rich mineral deposits or a river network. This would allow us to deepen and make more realistic many geographical features.
