Hello my vassals and (low level) lords, today we're talking about drafts. Now I hope you enjoy this topic, now let us begin.

Drafts:

In AOH2, we only had conscription but that required money. So I introduce drafts. Drafts will not require gold but there will be cost. -15 happiness, -20 stability, (Łukasz please add leader animosity I beg you) +37 leader animosity. So yeah your people may hate you, but I know better. And thats not gonna stop you. So to not make this horribly OP. The divisions made the drafted men will have a health and damage debuff. Cause they're untrained young 18 year old boys.

no problem dude, this can be blended really well with my mamluks idea where a merc takeover can establish a civ named AFTER said mercs

 

 

 

maybe certain mercenary companies like wagner could have certain spheres of influences. hell a completely new gamemode where you found your own merc group in different periods and compete with other groups via things like tech, troop quality, and victory rates etc could be amazing, you would get offers to fight certain battles etc and over time you would station your troops over more territory to unlock better clients, this is a MASSIVE stretch of a concept tho especially in the games current condition

A Review Of Through The Ages

Hello my people, this is a review of the mod Through The Ages for the game 𝐴𝑔𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝐻𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦 𝐼𝐼. This mod covers from the year 843 - 2021, there are two versions of the mod, the English translated android version and a Russian version for both android and pc. I play the English Android version of the mod (by big crow), so I will be reviewing that version of the mod. Please forgive me if my review is bad and unfactual.

Lack of Formables

The Mod lacks formables in the english edition.

    • Land units - Ideas AoH3
      AoH3 will have different types of land units.

      In this topic we will write ideas for new land units. 

       

      So the AoH 3 will have new battle system.


      Representation of the battlefield in the game.


      Land units will be grouped into 3 types. Each unit will have a different recruitment cost, attack, defense, movement speed and upkeep.

      Groups determine the placement of units on the battlefield.


       

      Each unit can be unlocked by researching technology and then upgraded.

       

      Here is the current list of units with upgrades:

      First line:

      Warrior -> Light Footmen -> Heavy Infantry -> Infantry -> Line Infantry -> Modern Infantry

      Hoplites -> Spearmen -> Pikeman -> Elite Pikeman -> Musketeer -> Riflemen -> Mechanized Infantry -> Modern Mechanized Infantry

      First line side:

      Horseman -> Elite Horseman -> Cavalry -> Tank -> Modern Tank

      Second line:

      Archer -> Bowmen -> Crossbowman -> Elite Crossbowman

      Canon -> Field Cannon -> Artillery -> Modern Artillery

      Early Airplane -> Airplane -> Modern Airplane

       

      This is a very early version, so maybe something should be changed?

      Or maybe an idea for a new type of unit with upgrades? I'm waiting for your suggestions.
