Little Big Italy

Hi guys, I spent some weeks (in total; I'm actually trying to work on this mod at least 1 hour a day since June) working on a mod about Italy. This mod, as you can get from the name, it's a mod based in Italy, but nonetheless it will contain also various territories that today aren't Italian but that, anyway, have played an important role during the history of the country, for example Corsica, Istria, Savoy and various others. The mod will also have (obviously) some nice scenarios, hystorical and not, for example: 1848, Italian Unification, Kaiserreich 1936, Italian Regions, Italian Provinces etc (But sadly there won't be any scenario before 1789, because I didn't found any accurate map or source that I can use to draw borders in a accurate way).  Furthermore, this mod will have some particular characteristics, and those would be the shape and the "configuration" of the grow rate of its provinces; in fact there will be two "types" of provinces:

The "Base provinces": The biggest and less important ones, that will have a grow rate between 2% and 5%, depending on the type of terrain.

The "Urban provinces": The smallest and most important ones, that will have a grow rate between 20% and 100% depending on the inhabitants of the city in real life (Due to this reason there will be a considerable number of cities that will be composed by more than one province, for example Milan will have more than 10 provinces).

I decided to devise the provinces in this way because I personally think that it will make the game more interesting, and also more realistic and definitely funnier to play.

Here's the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oVtcju_DsqDUNnlee9-yESH0eBqm6qWj/view?usp=sharing

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Before you install the mod you need to know that:

- The mod has a huge bug in the army position editor, in fact if you enter there the mod will crush and won't work again. And you'll have to download it again.

- The sea provinces, due to the problems with the army position editior, have been designed in unusual way, in fact they have a small diamond shape, and have no visible border between them, even though they're all well connected.

- This mod is using the "standard engine" of AoH2 and not other kind of engines (Like uwut, be etc..) because it seemed to have some problems and bugs with those.

- This mod contains also small scenarios, some of which have factions that are initially way weaker than the other. Well notice that in these scenarios the weaker factions have all some event setted to make them equally strong with the other. For example in "Cursed Scenario 1" the "yellow" faction, even though weaker than the "blue" one, receives monetary support every turn.

Here's a video to show you a little how is the mod:

The "Base provinces": The biggest and less important ones, that will have a grow rate between 5% and 15%, depending on the type of terrain. (I still have to work on the types of terrain)

The "Urban provinces": The smallest and most important ones, that will have a grow rate between 25% and 100% depending on the inhabitants of the city in real life (Due to this reason there will be a considerable number of cities that will be composed by more than one province, for example Milan will have more than 10 provinces). (Btw for now these provinces have only four values [25%,50%,75%,100%], and in the future I will probably change these values with more accurate ones)

I decided to devise the provinces in this way because I personally think that it will make the game more interesting, and also more realistic and definitely funnier to play.

The mod, as soon as it will be finished, will probably have something between 1.5K and 2K provinces.

Until now I have created about 450 provinces, and some regions are already completed, and these are: Corsica, Sardinia and Tuscany. These days I'm working on Emilia-Romagna, and I've actually done half of it.

Here are some photos of what I've done until now (I will post a daily photo to let you know the progresses I will do on the mod) Screenshot(146).thumb.png.6877476eb488db1770ae0c70d47d7176.pngScreenshot(147).thumb.png.548e68a89a7b1a38123e7354a9b01fca.pngScreenshot(148).thumb.png.8ace402e9628e8d0b5be5e1a5379f35c.pngScreenshot(149).thumb.png.8c4a35e881a61e4967d4c645cb04d0c8.pngScreenshot(150).thumb.png.a72f2e3e7b049929a205c3b5e0e326af.pngScreenshot(151).thumb.png.95ec33fdb0838ce6f42b522b751e5f4c.png

Hey guys, I was wondering, can I actually use Bloody Europe 1.0, or any other mod, as a sort of base for my mod? (With the only differences being the "game map", the scenarios and maybe other things) Or I can't do it because of copyright, or because of other reasons?

as long as you give them proper credit it's fine for me.

Today's province: Turin (Piedmont)

Total amount of game provinces: 691

This is the most important province I've made until now. Only the city of Turin is composed by 8 provinces, and it's also surrounded by others minor cities, so it's kind of a big fortress.

how do u get the bg, and how do u know for making province like state (i know how to make province and adding in game,)
because i want to make a map of france

What's bg? Btw if you want to create a new country just go to the editor, then go to game editor, game civilizations, then click on add civilization, write the name of the country in "civilization tag", choose the color and then click save. After this you can add the flags in the files.

I found the image on Google, I researched "High resolution maps of Italy", and this is the best I've found.
