Southern Tibet after 1903 was British India, after 1846 Aksai Chin was British India, and after 1962 it was Chinese.Taiwan belonged to Japan after the Treaty of Shimonoseki and to the Democratic Progressive Party of China after 1949.

Can you give me a picture of China in 1914? Thank you!

In 1851-1853 An expedition of Captain Nevelsky was sent to the Sea of Okhotsk, which proved the navigability of the Amur and explored Sakhalin, the Sea of Okhotsk and the Tatar Strait. The first Russian settlements and military posts were founded at the mouth of the Amur. During the Crimean War, Russia,
In an effort to strengthen its positions on the Pacific coast and on the approaches to Northern China, it fully ensured the navigation of Russian ships along the Amur River and established military posts along the Manchurian border. Subsequently, taking advantage of the weakening of China as a result of defeat in the war of 1856-1858. with England and France and the Taiping uprising,
Russia demanded that China recognize it as the entire Primorsky region. After 6 days of negotiations in the city of Aigun, an agreement consisting of 3 articles was signed.

According to the Aigun Treaty, Russian ownership of the left bank of the river was legally established. Amur from the river Arguni to the mouth; right bank of the river Amur to the river Ussuri was assigned to China.
The area between Ussuri and the sea “...until the border between the two states is determined in these places...” was declared the common possession of Russia and China. Navigation on the Amur, Sungari and Ussuri was allowed only to Russian and Chinese ships.

Such a diplomatic incident was possible due to
for rather conditional control of Qing China over a number of border territories.

And if I can still agree with you regarding Tibet and Altai, then the designated borders in the Amur region and Sakhalin are good in that they do not satisfy either side in the study of this issue.

But I am impressed by your righteous desire to overcome the Eurocentric attitude towards China and its borders, built more on the basis of a treaty of Empires that rarely agreed with Beijing.

But on the other hand, it is necessary to more carefully separate the official positions of states and actual control over territories.
Here modders will do a much better job on the map, giving 1000 autonomies to all countries. Funny
