Formable Vassals Civilizations - Ideas

Hello everyone,

This is the magnificent returns of my PowerPoints topics, and I hope you will like it. So while watching Varna by Brazilian Mapper, I was thinking about formable lords forming formable vassals, and can be a new challenge for the player. This would be a new function within the formable nations mechanic.

To create a formable vassal, it need to be attributed to a lord in the tab "Formable vassals". Each Formable vassals will have clamants, but it wont be that necessary. The thing that matter is the capital.

Here's one of the formabe vassal for German Empire: Poland with its capital: Warszawa (prefer this name).

A tab to form each vassal formable civilizations will be create in this occasion, the conditions will mostly be the same as for independent formable civilizations, except two points:

• The formable can be create when it has more than 75% of the required provinces (can be modded).
• The formable can be created when the lord only occupy the required provinces.

The capital is thus required, this is why it's crucial to not make this too opp !

Speaking of this, the incorporation of an occuped territory in the formable could be a privilege for formable nations, but the occuped territory should not exceed 15% of the total required provinces in the formable nation. Otherwise, it wont be possible to annex occuped provinces in another way than this.

 

Form countries with occupied territories debuffs (up to 15% of total provinces):

• Demand peace not possible within 2 years
• Incorpored provinces will have stability reduce by [1%]
• Unrest rate will increase by [1%]

It's good to let this option to the player, but they should think twice !

As Unity said, this is surely not hard to be inplemented, and is a copy of formable nations, but for vassals.

This can be added as a update or mod though

Łukasz Jakowski, with with the greatest respect, I'm just asking these questions:

• Will be possible to create a mod with a formable vassal mechanic? Allowing someone making it ?
• Will be possible to form a country with occupied territory ? At least making it optional.

The creation of vassal states fits in perfectly with the “missions” mechanism. This will give an additional reason to declare a war attributed to a mission.

Kingdom of Finland, Kingdom of Poland, Kingdom of Lithuania, Duchy of Courland-Semigallia, United Baltic Duchy, Belarusian Democratic Republic, Ukrainian State, Crimean Regional Government, Democratic Republic of Georgia
