figured out how to replace the national spirits

Recommended Posts

Guys, I figured out how to replace the national spirits (you can see them when choosing a country, there are 3 pictures) with more interesting mechanics

You can enter into the game (I have not yet figured out how to end them) the features of civilization, the country will have 3 features in the standard settings, but in the settings you can determine from 1-5. They can be viewed in the form of a board and by clicking on the flag. You can replace them with legacy points and money, but we won't get a bonus right away, and if we constantly change them, we'll get debuffs and riots will grow. There will be 7 categories of features: military, economic, administrative, religious, diplomatic, special and some require special requirements. Some features block access to others

Here are some. Military : 1 strength in number (+20 regiments limit, - 3 attack and defense, +50% human resources and - 30% army maintenance) . 2 only worthy ones (+3 to attack and defense, - 50% to increase in human resources, +30% army maintenance). 3 outstanding generals (+100% experience of generals, we will be able to send generals to the academy for generals, it will cost money, they will gain experience there and for every 4 levels of the academy we can send 1 general) 4 mercenary armies (-50% of the cost of mercenaries, - 30% of human resources and +30% to increase all money) 5 looters (100% of the income from the robbery and for every 1000 enemies killed we will get 1 gold)

One civilization can have only 3 of them, but this can be edited in the settings

They can be changed during the game

I wanted to make every civilization unique.

And for this he came up with the features of civilization. They will be divided into categories: military, economic, administrative, religious, diplomatic, governmental, and unique. One civilization can have only 3 features (this can be changed in the settings). They can be changed on time, but it will be expensive and long.

Some features can be taken because of religion, the form of government, by studying technology, or just some country will already have a unique feature. They give strong bonuses but debuffs too

This is the uniqueness of civilization

I wanted to use them to make each civilization unique. They can be selected at the beginning of the game, for some you need to study technology or have a special law or form of government

There will also be administrative, religious, economic, diplomatic, governmental and unique ones

Some give just a bonus and some give a strong bonus and debuff

Here is the description. Mercenary armies - why risk the lives of your citizens in a war if you can send mercenaries to it. This civilization relies on ground armies in war.

features of civilization

I wanted to divide them into categories: military, economic, administrative, religious, diplomatic, governmental and maybe public

Countries with countries with the same characteristics will have better relations

And I came up with features for all categories. If you want, I will write their

You know the cultural features in Crusader Kings 3 and there are features of civilization in Stellaris

Stellaris Mechanics Ideas are for Aoc 3
After all, these mechanics cannot be completely moved to Aoc 3. It must be adapted for it

The player will be able to choose any features. For bots, they will be random (or automatically embedded)

Thanks to these features, the country will be able to develop its own direction and they will influence the behavior of the country. Let's say a country with economic resources will develop its economy, and an army with the military.
Let's say a country with a conqueror feature will capture neighboring countries (very actively).
And with a special feature, the mining industry will develop provinces with minerals

Looters ( +100% loot and for 1000 killed enemies we get 1 coin) - someone will say that this is vandalism or desecration, but why would a corpse need these weapons, clothes and these coins?. Agricultural culture (production of rural products and income from it +50%) is the basis of income and production - this civilization consists of rural products. Alliance Seekers (+1 union limit and +25 chances of accepting an alliance) - this civilization solves its problems with the help of allies

Strength in numbers (+10 regiments limit, + 5000 human resources limit, - 30 percent regimental maintenance, - 3 regiment attack and defense) - the basis of the army of this country consists of numerous cheap and weak soldiers. Only the worthy (+3 attack and defense of the regiment, maintenance and hiring of the army increased by 30%) - only the worthy and strong can serve in the army. Masters of taxation (tax efficiency and tax income +50%) - tax collectors of this country are masters of their time

Conquerors (for each conquered province we get 10 coins and 5 heritage points) - this country is constantly striving for aggressive expansion. Religious fanatics (temples bring recruits, army maintenance - 25%, +1 attack and defense of the regiment against Gentiles and relations with Gentiles are much worse, the speed of technology learning is +20%) is a country of fanatics who can do anything for the sake of their faith. Defenders of the motherland (+1 attack and protection of the regiment in national territories, +50% of income and recruits during defensive wars) - the people of this country are ready to give everything to protect their country

Now, due to the fact that Lukash has already released the original game itself, all sorts of ideas for it are being considered by users worse and worse. More people will view mods and changes in the game, that's understandable. But this does not mean that ideas will stop coming at all, no, they still exist for moder or those who want to change their game themselves, but do not know how and what to change. I still advise you to familiarize yourself with the list of ideas { @Wayne23lololh @Rodak Polak @muhoaga @Matvey @YouravaragebrazilianAoCfan @DRM @Fire Quickly @Ares I of Congo @Yorkites @shatyshka @BaldingFox77558 @HistoryFan14 @PiePants @Nikitilus @anonymous8 @Taquito_Dictador @Das Moss Man @Withsoss @Redguy325 @Barbaris @Wielki_Czlek @xox @Keguca10 @Evis7 @daniiiiiii @Iceman @Mirolit @Basilio Paleologo @Sniperuntil @PHZanoniGamer @MeteHun @paul2kdj @Shiite @Shinayu @MisterT @angamo123 @Napoléon Ball @Mov @YusufAliDE @IKayzerI @Solu @BySpringBonnie76 @susugaming69 @Based @bizacjum @Banana @Thefernofrommars @achour 2 @The dark @BrazilGuy} and mine as well. These ideas are very good, I hope Lukasz notice them and update AoH3

Here are the coolest features of the civilization that I came up with
Corrupt state (the more corruption, the more income in %) - the government of this country has learned to take its own benefit from corruption. Outcast armies (discipline - 25%, human resource growth +10% and a solution appears that reduces corruption, inflation and crime and gives human resources) - the army of this country is made up of poor people and criminals, they are difficult to manage, but who will be sorry if they die. Legitimists (cost and speed of claims reduced by 50%) - diplomats of this country are masters in legitimization. Merciless exploitation (income from everything +50%, but unrest will grow) - this civilization relies on the merciless exploitation of its citizens and resources. Police state (opens the mechanics of maintaining the police, the same as maintaining the army and research, the more expenses on the police, the more bonuses and the stronger and faster the riots are suppressed, but corruption will grow) - the police have a huge role in this state
