Will not start on my windows PC

Please help I tried to download age of history three on my PC, it is windows 10 so should be supported.

First I downloaded steam and it was flickering after a while it stopped flickering. But the screen turned black and only when I hovered on  buttons or things that are interacted with. 

So went on the Aoh3 steam page,and cluck on the play button there were two options one that lead to winrar the other lead to Java both weren't helpful  so anyone knows what's going on?

Use this option to run the game without the need to install Java when launching the game:

AoH3 - Play the Game

 

OR:

In the game files:
Right-click on aoh3.jar -> Open with -> Java

You can use java from game files:
jre\bin\java.exe

If doesn't help:
Uninstall Java with the Java Uninstall Tool and make sure all old versions are uninstalled. Reinstall latest version of Java. Game should run fine after that.

AoH3.jar doesn't exist it is the game.jar file you're talking about and the thing I meant was starting on steam

I don't use a mouse but here is how I would do it.

1. Click With both Fingers on Game.Jar (Or right click with a mouse if you have one)
2. Hover cursor over the "Open With"
3. Select "Java(TM) Platform SE binary"
4. WAIT for a while
5. Play the game

thats the 5 steps.

But instead of steps 1-3 I just tap on it as I have Java for the default app .JAR files open with but on the screenshot I saw you had winrar as default so you have to use those steps in the comment above

after i open aoh3.jar with winrar/java i wait until the aoh3 loading comes up?
