Some suggestions

Here are my propositons:

1. A new type of building: Hospital.

Many people (including me) want to have an option to cure diseases. I propose a solution as the new building: hospital. It would have 3 levels

lev 1- 30% of people in a province aren't touched by disease

lev 2- 50% of people in a province aren't touched by disease

lev 3- 85% of people in a province aren't touched by disease

2. A new diplomacy option: mediation

You send a peace offer to countries at war (not your allies or enemies). It's realistic and quite useful.

3. Recruting in conquered provinces

It is irritating when you attack some large country, you get rid of troops, and the nearest core province is far away. So I propose to make recruting in conquered provinces a thing, like Germany did in real life in USSR. BUT:

1. You could recruit only 25% of normal recruitable population

2. A cost of recruitment would be 1,5x higher

4. Stop with countries randomly insulting me

Or make it less often.

Some true story: I want to offer alliance to some civ. So I improve relations with them. In 2 turns they would agree. What happenned next? This country sent me an insult and everything went to shit. 

At least don't make my allies, vassals or countries with very good relations (75+ i'd say) insult me.

5. Make vassals more... vassalised

The only thing that makes vassals vassals in AoC2 is paying money to their lord and having an alliance with them. Today I played as Nazi Germany. I had Poland as vassal. After some turns it declared war to USRR and I had to save it, which costed me much effort. I'd love to see a mechanic that vassal first must ask its lord to do any diplomatic option. It would add realism as well.

I agree with all of this(except maybe the "medition" one since I feel like 1. It would make the game maybe a bit too easy and 2. I wouldn't exactly say Lukasz's goal with this game was to make it the most realistic grand-strategy game ever if you get my point). Escpecially with 4 and 5.

Of course mediation wouldn't always be succesfull. I think it would only when both fighting countries would be in good relations with you, otherwise it wouldn't make much sense

The chances of success could related on how much more powerfull you are compared to them or they ask you to mediate because you are a great power.

      in this topic, I am interested in your ideas for events that can happen for every Civilization in the game.
      I'm also interested in Missions for every Civilization.

      Here is some example, have more than 10k army, have more than 5000 gold, build 10 buildings, recruit an Advisor, increase tax efficiency 20 times, be largest  producer of some resource in the world, unlock 5 Civilization legacies etc.

    • Land units - Ideas AoH3
      AoH3 will have different types of land units.

      In this topic we will write ideas for new land units. 

       

      So the AoH 3 will have new battle system.


      Representation of the battlefield in the game.


      Land units will be grouped into 3 types. Each unit will have a different recruitment cost, attack, defense, movement speed and upkeep.

      Groups determine the placement of units on the battlefield.


       

      Each unit can be unlocked by researching technology and then upgraded.

       

      Here is the current list of units with upgrades:

      First line:

      Warrior -> Light Footmen -> Heavy Infantry -> Infantry -> Line Infantry -> Modern Infantry

      Hoplites -> Spearmen -> Pikeman -> Elite Pikeman -> Musketeer -> Riflemen -> Mechanized Infantry -> Modern Mechanized Infantry

      First line side:

      Horseman -> Elite Horseman -> Cavalry -> Tank -> Modern Tank

      Second line:

      Archer -> Bowmen -> Crossbowman -> Elite Crossbowman

      Canon -> Field Cannon -> Artillery -> Modern Artillery

      Early Airplane -> Airplane -> Modern Airplane

       

      This is a very early version, so maybe something should be changed?

      Or maybe an idea for a new type of unit with upgrades? I'm waiting for your suggestions.
