Help with province creation

So i've watched the video that  Łukasz posted, but i still don't quite get how this stuff works. 

I tried to make a new province in Argentina, but it just cuts the older one instead of making a new one over it.

Anybody knows how to fix this?

Also, i don't get how to use Continue with the path of existing province with the Y key

At first edit then add new

[Pirsicola Tortellini 51]

I added a province, moved the province to the update folder + changed the name to the province id, and went to the config on earth and changed the max number of provinces but every time I try to boot up the game it crashes. What do I do?
