Game closes alone on loading

Question

I don't know why but my game does not start. After loading it reaches 100% the game closes by itself.
Over the weekend I played it normally without any problems, but when I tried to play yesterday I couldn't.
One way I found to be able to play AOC2 was this:

I went to "Properties" >>> "Local Files" >>> "Check File Integrity", and restored 28 game files.

After doing this the game started normally, except that it started on Map Earth (4269 provinces) scale 1, and a warning appears that
scale 5 is not working. But there is an EXTREMELY negative point to this method: it erases ALL changes you have made to maps that have
already been included in the game. For example, the events I created in the WWII and 1440 scenario have been deleted. They came back from
scratch. But the scenarios, leaders, and nations I created have not changed.

Although the game says scale 5 isn't working, I still managed to play it and there was no problem while I was playing. Only when I tried
to play again today, the same problem happened again.

I saw two people complaining about the same issue on Steam, so I'm not the only one
with this issue.
I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem and why is it happening?

I already solved my problem. If you also have this problem, do the following:

After AOC2 normally, you will have to exit the game and open it again. When you open the game for the 2nd time, you will notice that it will be in scale 5 again (I don't know why it changes scales alone). Ready! After you do all this, your problem is solved.

I had the same problem several times making a map and I thought it would be that but I wasn't sure, thanks.

I'll tell you that this only alleviates the problem but does not solve it. This happened to me again, result: I uninstalled the game. I will not waste several hours of my day to tidy up the game since I have no guarantee that it will open next time.

I think the same, what I do is make a copy of the map that I am creating before creating any province, and if the map gives problems of not entering, remove it from the map that does not load and put the copy.
